Actor Sanjay Dutt, who was to make a cameo appearance in his upcoming home production film 'Hasmukh Pighal Gaya', is waiting for further court orders on his surrender before shooting for his role.

The film is being directed by Sejal Shah and has a bunch of newcomers.

"He was to do a cameo appearance. He was going to shoot yesterday but now he is waiting if he gets extension (to surrender)," sources close to the project told PTI.

"He is required to shoot for two-three days," the source said.

There are rumours that Dutt's close friends Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan would also do cameos in the film. The shooting for the film has started in Mumbai.

Dutt has to surrender by April 18 before the TADA court in keeping with the directive of the Supreme Court, which recently upheld his conviction in the 1993 Mumbai bombings while reducing his imprisonment from six years to five.

The actor has already served 18 months in jail and has to spend three years and six months more to complete the sentence.
