Sanjay Dutt to feature in 'qawwali' song after 41 years

Sanjay Dutt, who starred as a child actor in a 'qawwali' song in 'Reshma aur Shera' four decades age, will now be seen as a 'qawwali' singer in a song from Apoorva Lakhia's remake of 'Zanjeer'.

Dutt was seen as a child artiste in a 'qawwali' song in 'Reshma Aur Shera' (1972), which starred his late father Sunil Dutt, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, and other seasoned actors like Vinod Khanna, Waheeda Rehman and Rakhee.

Now, after 41 years in the industry and over 150 films to his credit, Dutt will be seen in a 'qawwali' song in his upcoming film 'Zanjeer', where he would be reprising the iconic character of 'Sher Khan' from the original version.
 

The 'qawwali' song in the film goes as - 'Khochey Pathan Ki Zubaan'.

Lakhia's remake stars Ram Charan, Priyanka Chopra, Prakash Raj, Mahie Gill and Atul Kulkarni. The film is set to release on September 6.
