Saraswat Bank to onboard rations shops as biz correspondents

Saraswat Bank, top lender in the urban cooperative space, today said it has been selected along with three commercial banks to onboard 51,000 fair price shops as business correspondents (BCs) in Maharashtra.

The fair price shops will help extend financial services across the state, the lender said in a statement.

The bank has been allocated Sangli, Pune, Sindhudurg, Kolhapur, Akola, Nagpur, Jalgaon, Solapur, Ratnagiri and Nashik districts to onboard the shops as BCs, it said. ............................................................. HDFC Realty launches helpline to register with RERA

HDFC Realty has launched a helpline number to help brokers and developers register with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).
 

"Brokers and developers can call help desk number 022-67221919 from 10 am-6 pm, Monday-Sunday, for any queries related to fees, documentation, applicable rules and regulations, among others," the realty portal said in a statement here.

According to the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, it is imperative for brokers or real estate agents to register themselves with RERA in order to continue their practice.

State-run Bank of Baroda today launched an e-ticketing platform for the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup in the country.

The platform has been launched in association with the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the FIFA U-17 World Cup. It was inaugurated by football legend Carles Puyol.

"We are delighted to have partnered with FIFA U-17 World Cup which is a sporting milestone of the country and will host players from across the globe and their millions of fans," the bank's MD and CEO P S Jayakumar said in a statement here.

The platform, which is also the ticketing gateway, will integrate purchase of passes through various digital modes such as Internet banking, debit and credit card facilities.
