IAS officer M Saravanan has been appointed as Private Secretary to Union Minister Jitendra Singh.
Saravanan, a 2002 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre, has been appointed as PS to Jitendra Singh--Minister of State for Science and Technology, Earth Sciences, Prime Minister's Office, Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, and Atomic Energy and Space--for a period of five years, according to an official order.
43-year-old Saravanan hails from Tamil Nadu and is presently working in his cadre.
