Music label company Saregama today said it has slashed prices of its digital audio player range 'Carvaan' by up to Rs 600.
"The move comes in the wake of the newly announced GST reduction, whose benefit the company has decided to pass on directly to its customers," the company said in a statement.
The Carvaan variants that were originally priced at Rs 6,490 and Rs 6,990 will now be available at Rs 5,990 and Rs 6,390, respectively, it added.

Seqrite, the enterprise security solutions of Quick Heal Technologies, today said it has partnered Finnish firm Jetico to develop encryption solutions.
Through this collaboration, Seqrite will gain the rights to integrate the technology from Jetico's whole disk encryption software, Seqrite said in a statement.
Designed to protect data residing on whole disk as well as removable media, 'Seqrite Encryption' will enable customers to protect sensitive information and mitigate the risk of data exposure, it added.
