Saria edges up on stockists buying

Saria prices rose by Rs 200 per tonne at the wholesale steel market in the national capital today on increased buying by stockists following pick up in demand from constructions units.

Traders said increased buying by stockists due to pick up in demand from construction units, mainly attributed the rise in saria prices.

Saria Kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 36,100, Rs 34,300 and Rs 33,700 per tonne, respectively. Saria 16-25-mm followed suit and enquired higher by a similar margin to Rs 33,700 per tonne.

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 36,100, 10-mm Rs 34,300, 12-mm Rs 33,700, 16-25 mm Rs 33,700.

Angle Capital (ISI) (40X5) (40x6) Rs 44,100, (35X5)(65X6) Rs 44,600. Girder (125X65) Rs 41,000.
