Saria prices move up on buying by stockists

Saria prices went up by Rs 100 per tonne at the steel market in the national capital today on fresh buying by stockists.

Traders attributed the rise in saria prices to pick-up in demand from construction units.

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 48,400, Rs 47,900 and Rs 45,500 per tonne, respectively.

Saria 16-25-mm followed suit and was enquired higher by a similar margin to Rs 46,200 per tonne.

Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 48,400, 10-mm Rs 47,900, 12-mm Rs 45,500, 16-25 mm Rs 46,200.
 

Amba Shakti (TMT): 8-mm Rs 45,700, 10-mm Rs 43,400, 12-mm Rs 42,400, 16-25 mm Rs 42,500.

MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) Rs 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) Rs 42,800.

Angle Capital (ISI) (40X5) (40x6) Rs 44,100, (35X5)(65X6) Rs 44,600. Girder (125X65) Rs 41,000.
