Saria prices rise on pick up in demand

Saria prices rose by Rs 200 per tonne at the wholesale steel market today following pick up in demand from constructions units.

Traders attributed the rise in saria prices to pick up in demand from constructions units.

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 44,200, Rs 43,700 and Rs 41,300 per tonne, respectively.

Saria 16-25-mm followed suit and traded higher by a similar margin to Rs 42,100 per tonne.

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 44,200, 10-mm Rs 43,700, 12-mm Rs 41,300, 16-25 mm Rs 42,100.
 

Amba Shakti (TMT): 8-mm Rs 45,200, 10-mm Rs 42,900, 12-mm, Rs 41,900, 16-25 mm Rs 42,000.

MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) Rs 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) Rs 42,800.

Angle Capital (ISI) (40X5) (40x6) Rs 44,100, (35X5)(65X6) Rs 44,600. Girder (125X65) Rs 41,000.
