Saria strengthens on increased demand

Saria prices rose by Rs 200 per tonne at the steel market in the national capital today on upsurge in demand from construction units.

Traders attributed the rise in saria prices to increased demand from construction units.

They said, however, activity in other steels remained negligible.

Saria Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 38,200, Rs 36,400 and Rs 35,800 per tonne, respectively.

Saria 16-25-mm followed suit and traded higher by a similar margin to Rs 35,800 per tonne.

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 38,200, 10-mm Rs 36,400, 12-mm Rs 35,800, 16-25 mm Rs 35,800.
