Saria strengthens on increased offtake by stockists

Saria prices firmed up by Rs 200 per tonne at the local steel market today due to increased offtake by stockists amid pick-up in demand from construction units.

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 50,100, Rs 49,600 and Rs 47,200 per tonne, respectively.

Saria 16-25mm followed suit and traded higher by the same margin to Rs 47,900 per tone.

Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm 50,100, 10-mm 49,600, 12-mm 47,200, 16-25 mm 47,900.

Amba shakti (TMT): 8-mm 45,700, 10-mm 43,400, 12-mm 42,400, 16-25 mm 42,500.
 

MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) 42,800.

Angle Capital (ISI) (40X5) (40x6) 44,100, (35X5)(65X6) 44,600. Girder (125X65) 41,000.
