Saria strengthens on scattered demand

Saria prices rose by Rs 100 per tonne at the steel market in the national capital today on scattered demand from construction units.

Traders said increased demand from construction units mainly influenced saria prices.

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 48,300, Rs 47,800 and Rs 45,400 per tonne, respectively.

Saria 16-25-mm followed suit and enquired higher by a similar margin to Rs 46,100 per tonne.

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 48,300, 10-mm Rs 47,800, 12-mm Rs 45,400, 16-25 mm Rs 46,100.

Amba Shakti (TMT): 8-mm Rs 45,700, 10-mm Rs 43,400, 12-mm Rs 42,400, 16-25 mm Rs 42,500.
 

MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) Rs 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) Rs 42,800.

Angle Capital (ISI) (40X5) (40x6) Rs 44,100, (35X5)(65X6) Rs 44,600. Girder (125X65) Rs 41,000.
