Saria strengthens up on scattered demand

Saria prices edged higher by Rs 100 per tonne at the steel market in the national capital today on pick-up in demand from constructions unit.

Traders said uptick in demand from constructions unit led to the rise in saria prices.

Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 38,100, Rs 36,900 and Rs 36,900 per tonne, respectively.

Saria 16-25-mm followed suit and traded higher by a similar margin to Rs 36,400 per tonne.

Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 38,100, 10-mm Rs 36,900, 12-mm Rs 36,900, 16-25 mm Rs 36,400.

Angle Capital (IS) (40X5) (40x6) Rs 44,100, (35X5)(65X6) Rs 44,600, Girder (125X65) Rs 41,000.
