She has won hearts with her moves but Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit reveals it was ace choreographer Saroj Khan who taught her Bollyood dancing.

"Saroj Khan ji (choreographer) knows my problem very well. My problem was that I was a classical dancer..I am trained in Kathak and I did not know Bollywood dancing. When we were doing 'Uttar Dakshin', Saroj ji told me to learn Bollywood dance," Madhuri told reporters here at an event of "Dance with Madhuri", her online Dance Academy.

"She had told me when we do 'Tezab' I will have to do a lot of rehearsals. I have learnt Bollywood dancing from her," the 47-year-old actress said.

For the "Dhak-Dhak" girl, dance is also a stressbuster.

"Whenever I am tensed I dance.. That is the best stress buster. Like some people meditate or do yoga I dance as I feel happiness," she added.

Madhuri feels that Bollywood films have witnessed some changes in dancing over the years.

"Changes do come as different styles do keep coming but the basic thing of happiness and joy is there," she added.

Tata Sky has partnered with Madhuri and her husband Shriram Nene's RnM Moving Picture to launch 'Dance Studio', which will help its interested subscribers learn various forms of dancing.

On qualities that she looks in a good dancer, Madhuri says, "One should be expressive, there should be grace and how to carry yourself. When you put expression, rhythm and body language together then you become a good dancer."

The Direct-to-home major's service will provide introduction to different dance forms ranging from Bollywood dance to specialised forms like Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop along with Salsa, Tango, the company said in a statement.

"Dance has always been my passion and acting is my first love. I was three year old since then I am learning dance. Dance gives me lot of happiness, pleasure, spiritual experience, and I wanted to share it with people," she said.

"You can learn from the best of gurus at your own convenience. It is good for housewives. Its a great medium for people to learn dance. Those who dance badly I feel like telling them to go and learn dance from 'Dance with Madhuri', she added.
