Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board has set up a control room for the assistance of pilgrims intending to join the annual 44-day yatra to the holy cave shrine of Amarnath, commencing from June 28.
"A control room has been established for yatris undertaking the 3,880 mt-high Amarnath pilgrimage," an official spokesman said here today.
"A helpline, which is functional in the office of Additional Chief Executive Officer of the SASB, shall function round-the-clock during the entire yatra period," he said.

The helpline is currently functional from 0930 hours to 1800 hours on all week days but would be made 24x7 from June 27, a day ahead of the commencement of the yatra, which is scheduled to end on August 10, he said.
"Any person desirous of seeking information or assistance in regard to the forthcoming yatra can call 0194-2501679 or 09469722210 or send an email atsasbjk2001@gmail.Com. Any person can call the control room or helpline to make enquiries about the yatra arrangements," the spokesman said.
He said the interested pilgrims can also gather yatra- related information through the SASB's website by logging on to www.Shriamarnthjishrine.Com and also send e-queries on-line through the website.
