Sasikala's statement to be recorded further on Dec 10

Special Judge H N Balakrishnan adjourned the matter to December 10 stating that he was still awaiting the government notification appointed him as the Special Judge in the case.

He further stated that he also wanted to go through the records pertaining to the case and the remaining questions to be answered by Sasikala under section 313 CrPC and "if necessary reformulate it".

The judge further directed Sasikala to be present in the court on Dec 10.

Jayalalithaa has been charged with accumulating disproportionate wealth known to her known sources of income when she was chief minister between 1991 and 1995 and the case was transferred to Bangalore by the Supreme Court on a petition by DMK General Secretary K Anbazhagan.
