Four years after making his Bollywood debut with "Kahaani", actor Saswata Chatterjee is now all set to start his second stint in the Hindi film industry with a film to be directed by Anurag Basu's film.

"I am doing a film with Anurag (Basu). I have already given him the dates. I can't back out from the commitments to Anurag or the other films I do here," Saswata told PTI at the trailer launch of "Jenana", a film on male transgenders hanging around at traffic signals.

While Saswata said he cannot say anything more about his role in Basu's film, he will reportedly play Ranbir Kapoor's father in "Jagga Jasoos", which also stars Katrina Kaif.

Saswata is however, not sure if he would do the sequel of "Kahaani" to be directed by Sujoy Ghosh, as he has not heard from the director for a long time.

"Sujoy had told me I am in his film. But there has been no update of late."

"I also heard that (the film stars shooting soon). But I can't tweak my dates which have already been given to Anurag or local films I have already signed," said Saswata.

The actor says the upcoming Bengali film "Jenana" is based on an unconventional subject of transgenders pleading for help from motorists at traffic signals.

On Censor Board's certain curbs and restrictions, Saswata said, "It is a borderline case. For instance while today's children are growing up listening to cuss words in every day life, it is immature to delete them from films."

He said that he did not mind the "smoking kills" scroll, "but we should also ponder why sale of cigarette in open market is being allowed".
