Press Trust of India New Delhi
The Supreme Court collegium has recommended the appointment of additional judge Justice Kailash Chandra Sharma as a permanent Judge of the Rajasthan High Court.

The collegium, comprising Chief Justice Dipak Misra and the two senior-most judges -- Justices J Chelameswar and Ranjan Gogoi, recommended the appointment after considering the recommendation of the high court collegium.

The apex court body took note of a complaint against Justice Sharma and said it deserved to be ignored in the wake of other material on record.

The collegium considered Justice Sharma's case alone from the proposal for appointment of 11 additional judges of the high court as permanent judges, as he was going to retire shortly and the current term of the other ten additional judges would expire much later.
