The Supreme Court today directed BSES Yamuna Pvt Ltd to pay its outstanding dues for the January to June period to power generating and transmission companies before July 15.
The apex court said the company shall also continue to pay the recurring monthly demand to power generating and transmitting companies on the same basis of figure indicated in its order of May 6, 2014.
In the order, a bench headed by Chief Justice R M Lodha said, "We are satisfied that the discom BSES Yamuna Pvt Ltd must make payment of due amount as on June 30."

The bench also comprising justices M B Lokur and Kurian Joseph noted that there was no admitted statements of dues about BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd.
However, the bench was told that BSES Rajdhani has already paid 94 per cent of the outstanding dues.
The bench, which posted the matter after two months, said other diverse issues arising in the matter will be taken up later.
BSES Yamuna has 13.5 lakh customers in central and east Delhi, including Chandni Chowk, Daryaganj, Paharganj, Shankar Road, Patel Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, Mayur Vihar and Yamuna Vihar.
BSES Rajdhani distributes power to over 18.5 lakh consumers in south and west Delhi, including Alaknanda, Vasant Kunj, Saket, Nehru Place, Nizamuddin, Sarita Vihar, Hauz Khas, R K Puram, Janakpuri, Punjabi Bagh, Tagore Garden, Vikas Puri, Palam and Dwarka.
