"We are going to pass a very brief order," said a bench of justices Aftab Alam and Ranjana Prakash Desai.

It added it would also consider Shah's plea for permission to enter the state in view of the upcoming assembly elections there.

During the two-hour-long hearing, senior advocate Ram Jethmalani said Shah is ready to accept any condition to continue on bail and is willing to give even an undertaking that he would not in any way, influence the trial.

The CBI has sought cancellation of Shah's bail saying he cannot be put on higher pedestal than other accused in the Sohrabuddin case who have been denied bail.

The agency added it has filed a charge sheet in the case of Tulsiram Prajapati killing two days ago, in which Shah and erstwhile top police officials have been charge-sheeted.

The CBI said Prajapati was a witness in the Sohrabuddin case and his killing was part of a larger conspiracy in which Shah, as the then head of the state administration, was involved. (More)
