The Supreme Court today said it will hear the bail pleas of all accused together in the multi-crore rupees Vyapam scam case.

A bench comprising Chief Justice T S Thakur and Justices A K Sikri and R Banumathi observed this when counsel for one of the accused, who is in jail for more than a year now, sought early hearing of his bail plea.

The counsel, appearing for Dushyant Tiwari who is an accused in the case, moved the bail plea after the lower court and the High Court denied him relief.

Earlier, the apex court had transferred all Vyapam- related cases to the CBI and has been monitoring them.

The multi-crore rupee professional examination scam in Madhya Pradesh involves several high-profile professionals, politicians and bureaucrats as accused.

Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB), popularly known as Vyapam, holds examinations for various posts such as teachers, medical officers, constables and forest guards.
