Nearly 156 scams have come to the fore in the last 13 years of BJP's "misrule" in Madhya Pradesh, Congress claimed here today.
"BJP came to power in the state in December 2003 and since then 156 scams have surfaced. Each month, people come to know about a scam through newspapers," State Congress Chief Arun Yadav and acting Leader of the Opposition in MP Assembly Bala Bachchan said.
Releasing a list of 156 scams, including Vyapam (a multi-crore recruitment and admission racket) to journalists, the two leaders said crores of rupees have changed hands in these scandals.

They said that MP government has spent Rs 5000 crore in organising the month-long Simahasta - Kumbh in Ujjain in April and May, of which Rs 1500 crore has been siphoned off.
They said that inquiries in connection with corruption against 12 MP Ministers are pending with Lokayukta Police adding the state government has not acted against them yet.
Yadav and Bachchan said that permanent pandals have been put up at Chief Minister's official residence and crores of rupees are being given to its owner.
Bachchan said that it was unfortunate that MP was the third state in the country where farmer suicides were increasing.
He said that 2400 farmers' committed suicide last year adding 561 farmers have ended their lives by February this year.
Yadav said that all the inquiries, commission reports in different cases, submitted to the state government in the past, has not been tabled in MP yet.
