Scattered rains today continued in parts of Rajasthan due to the effect of cyclone Hudhud, a MeT official said.
Walled city Jaipur and the adjoining areas received moderate rains this morning with a rainfall of about 5 mm, while Churu and Ganganagar recorded 0.5 mm rainfall since last night.
Drizzles and cloudy weather caused day temperature in the entire state to dip by at least 5 notches on the mercury scale since yesterday. The maximum temperature had hovered around 28 and 32 degree Celsius yesterday, with the weatherman predicting it to fall further this afternoon.

Udaipur recorded a minimum of 17.6, Jalore and Churu 17.2, Sikar, Bikaner, Jaisalmer 18 each, and Jaipur 20 degree Celsius.
A fresh round of western disturbances have risen from J&K and Himachal and are likely to hit the state in next 48 hours, the forecast said.
