Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), a state-owned coal miner Monday said it achieved 28.5 million tonnes of coal production during the first half of the current fiscal against 27.8 million tonnes during the same period last fiscal.
According to an official release, the SCCL dispatched 31 million tonnes of coal during the period under discussion against 29.9 million tonnes in the first of the last fiscal.
The thermal power plant run by the SCCL achieved 100 per cent plant load factor (PLF) during September, it said.
