School building catches fire in J&K, no casualty

A school building was damaged in a fire incident in south Kashmir Anantnag district, police said today.

The fire broke out in Government Boys Middle School Hiller in Shahabad village of Dooru area of the district last night, they said.

No casualties have been reported.

According to the police, the building and official records of the school were damaged in the incident.

Fire tenders, police and locals brought the fire under control, police said, adding a case has been registered.
