Eight children sustained injuries when the school bus carrying them hit a stationed truck here today due to poor visibility amid rains, police said.
"Eight children of Sattva Vikashave School were injured when their school bus rammed into a stationed truck from behind near city's Science City circle in Sola locality," sub-inspector, Sola police station D G Dabhi said.
The accident, apparently took place due to the poor visibility in the heavy rains, he said, adding, the children were aged between 5 and 14 years.

The students were rushed to near the by CIMS hospital.
Chief operative officer of the CIMS hospital Dr Ashwini Bansal said that all the students sustained minor injuries, but two to three of them suffered fractures.
