Sub Inspector Bhanwar Singh of City Kotwali Police Station said the children aged between 10 to 13 years were students at a private school.

He said the bus was speeding and it overturned near Jhalawar overbridge, about 8 km away from the school, at around 8 am.

A case of negligent driving was lodged against the driver who was detained and the bus impounded, the SI said.
