: Some art works at the main venue of the ongoing Kochi-Muziris Biennale (KMB) are finding an interesting replication at at the General hospital here.

A group of school students from the city are reproducing what they had created at the Aspinwall House in Fort Kochi, as murals on a wall facing the Government Hospital. All this, with the help of an NGO that is managing this project in association with a clutch of local government schools.

The Amaara Foundation, which is a voluntary organisation that works towards empowering children, says the ongoing biennale has given young talents a "great opportunity" to improve their skills.

'This is our gift to the children at the hospital and to the city', says Rashmi Deepak, founder of the 2009-instituted Amaara which is registered under the Indian Trusts Act. 'We look forward to a stronger association with the KBF (Kochi Biennale Foundation)'.
