A student of higher secondary was raped by her friend here, following which the accused has been arrested, police said today.
The incident took place three days back when the minor went to meet her friend, police said, adding he took her to a hotel where he raped her after giving an intoxicant-laced drink.
The accused is identified as Bodh Raj, a resident of Gurdaspur, police said.
Police today booked and arrested Bodh Raj after the medical examination of the victim confirmed rape.
