School headmaster held for molesting girl students

A 36-year-old headmaster in-charge of a government school near here was today arrested for allegedly molesting some girl students, police said.

The accused, Arvind Tiwari, headmaster of the government high school at Sarora village the under Urla police station limits was held based on a complaint lodged by minor students, Urla Station House Officer (SHO) Meena Choudhary told PTI.

The school girls aged about 16 years told the police that the accused, who teaches English, frequently misbehaved with them and indulged in indecent acts during the classes, the SHO said.

The girls first informed their parents, who then approached the police, she added.
 

Tiwari has been booked under IPC section 354 (A) (sexual harassment) and under relevant sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act-2012 in this connection, the Choudhary said.
