A 15-year-old boy died after his bike was hit by a speeding bus near Pamban here today, police said.
The incident occurred this morning when the victim, Harun was proceeding to Pamban on his two-wheeler, they said.
A government bus coming in the opposite direction hit his bike and in the impact he was thrown off the vehicle and sustained serious head injuries.
Though he was rushed to the hospital, he succumbed on the way, police said.
