Over 1,000 students from 15 schools visited the two-day bird fair which began today at the Man Sagar lake here.
In the 20thedition of the fair, organised by the Tourism and Wildlife Society of India (TWSI), the students got to see 32 different bird species in the lake.
Binoculars were kept by the organisers for better viewing and there were nature experts to answer the queries of the students.

Educational sessions were held on different topics, including 'Fairs as Conservation and Tourism Tools'.
On the occasion, the co-founder of theBritish Bird Watching Fair, Tim Appleton, spoke about the significance of bird fairs.
