Schools in Goa will reopen on June 8 instead of June 4 due to "unavoidable circumstances".
"Due to unavoidable circumstances the reopening of all schools in the state of Goa is postponed and they are rescheduled to open on June 8," as per a circular issued by Director of Education, G P Bhat.
According to sources in the department, the deferment is due to delay in arrival of monsoon which is expected to hit the coastal state on Monday.
