Schools and colleges up to intermediate level in Gorakhpur district will remain closed till Wednesday in view of cold wave and foggy conditions in the state.
District administration issued the order for the closure of schools and colleges with immediate effect, sources in district administration said here today.
The district recorded the minimum temperature at 8.4 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature settled at 19.9 degrees, three notches below normal.
Fog and mist prevailed till 10 am here affecting traffic.
