Science, innovation and research can play the role of importants tools for the upliftment of India's rural sector, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari today said.
Addressing students at the fourth convocation of GLA University in Mathura, Gadkari said India's natural wealth could not be utilised properly due to wrong policies and governance in post-independence period.
"The condition of poor and farmers can can be improved by widening the area of development. Innovation, research and science can play the role of important tools for upliftment of rural areas," the Union Minister for Shipping, Road Transport and Highways said.
