Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia today expressed serious concern about swine flu virus spreading in Madhya Pradesh and demanded setting up of disease testing laboratories at Bhopal, Indore and Gwalior.
In a letter to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Scindia said that he came to know that the MP state government has written a letter to private nursing homes directing them not to discuss swine flu.
"I failed to understand the logic behind it," he said.

The Congress leader said that though testing facilities to detect the swine flu virus exists only in Jabalpur at present, it is advisable to set up three more laboratories at Indore, Gwalior and Bhopal.
Besides, adequate stock of medicines, masks and other required material should be provided to hospitals, he said.
Scindia also urged the Chief Minister to direct medical officers and other staff to ensure that required medicines and other facilities were available in their respective hospitals.
He also said that he will raise the issue with Union Health Minister J P Nadda soon.
