"Steve Jobs" producer Scott Rudin is on board to develop "Justice League Dark", officially titled "Dark Universe".

The 57-year-old Oscar-winning producer is already making updates to the script and approaching directors, reported Aceshowbiz.

The movie is expected to start filming in 2016.

Director Guillermo del Toro, who scripted the film and was set to helm it, left the directorial job and decided to work on "Pacific Rim 2" instead.

"Dark Universe" is based on the comic series "Justice League Dark", which was written by Peter Milligan and illustrated by Mikel Janin.

The movie will see superheroes like Swamp Thing, Deadman, Zatanna, and Etrigan The Demon would make up the team.
