In view of the security alert received ahead of the anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition tomorrow, South Central Railway (SCR) has stepped up vigil under its zone.
Instructions have been issued to all officials concerned, including Railway Protection Force personnel, in six SCR divisions asking them to be on high alert.
Vigil will be strengthened in stations, trains and at vital Railway installations, an SCR release said today.
