South Central Railway (SCR) will run six special trains between Secunderabad and Kakinada town and two on Kacheguda-Kakinada route to ease the festive rush of Sankranti.
The special train Secunderabad-Kakinada town will run from from Secunderabad at 22.40 hrs on January 13, 15 and 17 and reach Kakinada at 11.45 hrs the next day, an official SCR release said here today.
From Kakinada town, it will depart on January 14, 16 and 18 at 16.45 hrs and arrive in Secunderabad at 04.05 hrs.

Enroute, the special trains will halt at Moulali, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Vishnupuram, Nadikude, Piduguralla, Sattenapalle, Guntur, Mangalagiri, Vijayawada, Uppulur, Tarigoppala, Gudivada, Mandavalli, Kaikalur, Akivedu, Bhimavaram town, Tanuku, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Dwarapudi, Anaparti and Samalkot stations in both the directions.
Kakinada Town-Kacheguda special train will depart from Kakinada at 18.30 hrs on January 14 and reach Kacheguda at 05.25 hrs, the next day, it added.
