A scuffle broke out between members of Dalit party VCK and BJP workers here today over holding of a demonstration against the state president of the saffron party.
Trouble broke out after BJP objected to VCK cadres insisting on holding the demonstration at a site very close to a premises where the BJP State Executive meet was on.
Police said senior BJP members, including state president Tamilisai Soundararajan and union minister Pon Radhakrishnan were attending the meeting when VCK workers tried to organise the demonstration without police permission.
