SCZ Centre to take part in International Fleet Review in Vizag

City-based South Central Zone Cultural Centre has been selected to take part in the entertainment programmes during the International Fleet Review (IFL) to be held at Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh this week.

The IFR 2016 will be held in Visakhapatnam between February 4 and 8 and more than 90 ships, 24 of them foreign, will participate in the event.

President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice President Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are scheduled to attend the event, which will attract about 10,000 foreign nationals and about five lakh tourists.

"Various cultural programmes, including music, traditional Indian dances, regional folk dances, vocal recitals, handicrafts and exhibition will be organised on the occasion," an official release said.
 

Artists from various parts of the country will showcase their talent during various shows throughout the mega event, it added.
