Ruling Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) posted victory in one seat and is leading in 20 other seats in the total 32 state Assembly constituencies.
SDF's Somnath Poudyal won Khamdong-Singtam seat by 296 votes defeating his nearest rival Mani Kumar Sharma of Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM).
While Poudyal got 4,780 votes, Sharma bagged 4,484 votes.
