The toll in Wednesday's city market fire rose to 20 with a victim succumbing to his injuries today even as police registered a case against four persons.
"Today one person has died in the hopsital. He was admitted with 80 per cent burns," Joint CP (Crime) Pallab Kanti Ghosh said.
Meanwhile, forensic experts visited the site of the fire on February 27 in Surya Sen market here in Sealdah, and collected samples for investigation.
Ghosh said a case has been registered against four persons in connection with the incident.
"A case has been filed against four persons, but no arrest has been made so far," he said.
