Sean Penn apparently had a word with Robert Pattinson to ensure that his daughter Dylan, who is reportedly dating the "Twilight" star, does not suffer a heartbreak.
The 27-year-old actor recently sparked dating rumours with Dylan after the duo were spotted catching a show together, reported Showbizspy.
"Sean had a chat with Rob recently. Sean knows what it's like to be a young, successful actor and the beautiful women that come with it," a source said.
"Sean gave his piece about not getting too heavy with his daughter if he's playing the field, as he doesn't want to see her hurt," the source added.
Pattinson ended his three-year-old relationship with his "Twilight" co-star Kristen Stewart in May after her affair with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders became public.
The couple tried to work things out after a brief spilt but finally parted ways in May.
Pattinson has been linked to many women post-split.
