A massive search operation launched by the security forces in Giridih district continues to trace four persons who were abducted by suspected Maoists, a senior police officer said today.
"The search operation is still continuing," Superintendent of Police Kranti Kumar told PTI over phone.
District police and CRPF personnel are involved in the operation, the SP said.

The abducted persons, identified as Sai Vamsi Vardhan, who is pursuing Prime Minister Rural Development Fellowship, Chandradev (village level worker), Shambu (gram rozgar sevak) and Maksood Ansari (panchayat sevak), Kumar said.
The four persons were travelling in a car when the rebels intercepted their vehicle on Saturday evening near Navkania village situated in the foothills of Parasnath in Giridih district, the SP said adding the driver of the car Rajendra was let off by the rebels.
The team is connected with works under social security pension and MG-NREGA, Giridih district officials said.
