A sector commander level meeting of BSF and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) here today resolved to share actionable intelligence inputs to curb trans-border crimes.
BSF, DIG, Brajesh Kumar said "The issues discussed in the meeting were related to trans-border crimes, mainly smuggling, theft, cattle lifting, border violation, infiltration, breaching and damaging of border pillars and other issues related to border infrastructure like barbed wire erection.
"We have resolved to share actionable intelligence inputs to curb trans-border crimes," he said.

The meeting was held at the Srimantapur Indo-Bangla land customs station complex.
Most of the issues were discussed and sorted out by the field commanders, Kumar said adding BSF and BGB agreed to look into each others' perspective on border problems.
