Security forces busted a hideout in north Kashmir's Kupwara district and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition, police said today.
Acting on specific information, police and 47RR in a joint search operation busted a hideout in Kralsanger forest area of Handwara in the district at Haran Top, a police spokesman said.
"One AK-47 rifle, one AK magazine, twenty AK rounds, one Chinese pistol, one pistol magazine, five 9mm rounds, one radio set with antenna and 3 UBGLs (Under Barrel Grenade Launcher) were recovered from the hideout," the spokesman said.
