All personnel of Pakistan's Federal Investigation Agency at the international airport in Rawalpindi have been suspended for allowing two foreigners to enter the high-security facility without proper documentation.

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan issued the order to suspend the FIA staff working at Benazir Bhutto International Airport.

The personnel allowed two women to enter the airport without proper documentation. A special team will investigate the matter and submit a report to the Interior Minister within two days.

"Those who are sluggish and unproductive will be removed from service," Khan was quoted as saying by The Express Tribune daily today.

"All of the Federal Investigation Agency will be revamped and it would have to deliver now," an unnamed official of the Interior Ministry told the newspaper.
