Heavy security has been put in place ahead of the maiden Indian Super League match between defending champions ATK Kolkata and new entrant Jamshedpur FC at the JRD Tata Sports complex here.
Apart from 20 deputy superintendent of police rank officials, 500 police personnel and 200 police officials will be deployed in and around the sports complex, said Gopal Choudhury, chief of security, Tata Steel.
"We have made a multi-layered security umbrella in and around the 25,000-capacity sports complex," he said.

The match is scheduled to be held on December 1.
Choudhury said a value operating centre (VOC) would also conduct anti-sabotage check in the stadium five hours before the match.
Besides, 95 CCTV cameras have been installed to keep vigil in the entire sports complex, he added.
