Security has been tightened across Haryana's Jind district ahead of BJP chief Amit Shah's February 15 bike rally.

The All India Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti (AIJASS) has been threatening to disrupt Shah's rally, citing non- fulfilment of a number of their demands as the reason behind it.

The administration has deputed eight SSP, 55 DSP, 200 Inspector, 5,500 police men and 250 women police for the rally. Over 450 NGOs will also take part in the security arrangement, SSP Arun Singh said.

Over eight companies of paramilitary forces have reached the Jind Police line and as many companies will reach the spot tomorrow, he said.
