Press Trust of India Sangrur (Pb)
Congress candidate from Sangrur Lok Sabha seat Vijay Inder Singla, who is seeking re-election from the constituency for the second term, today said that development is his main poll plank.

"I am seeking votes on the basis of the development works undertaken by me during my last five-year term," he said while addressing a gathering in Dhuri area here.

He stated that Sangrur region has been neglected over decades and no attention was given to bringing the big ticket projects to this area by earlier political representatives.

Singla is pitted against SAD's stalwart and former Union Minister Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, AAP's Bhagwant Mann, besides others.
